Academic Calender
The traditional (and most common) academic calendar in Japan begins on April 1 and is referred to as the Spring semester. The Fall semester begins in September and lasts until early February. At Rikkyo University, each semester is 14 weeks, followed by a final exam/final report time period. Generally speaking, most courses meet once a week and all class sessions are 100 minutes in length.
